Thank you for pointing out that I was forcing cookies rather than just reCAPTCH. I am still new to administering a Serendipity blog, and did not know that was the default. I have added reCPATCH and will investigate removing cookies if they are still required.

Like you've probably guessed, I agree 100% on everything but the Free Speech part, which is 50%.

I agree that people should be allowed to say anything, anything at all. However, I don't think that people have to right to beat you to a pulp for it (they could claim that right just to beat you up and "accidentally" kill you).

Also, my blog acts on my behalf. You can type whatever you want into my blog (yep, even spam), but I am not required to pass it on to my readership. Note that I don't proactively moderate my blog (though I know people who do), but I do reserve the right to remove comments or disable commenting for any or for no reason. I'll try to ask for cooperation nicely first.

Also, you forgot to mention that people have the right to take any drugs they want, but are responsible for what they do when they're high.

p.s. Please allow commenting with cookies disabled. I know yours isn't the only one this doesn't work on, but it's still nice. Try reCAPTCHA instead.
